Community Support Projects
Free surplus food for local families - organised by Winton & Parkstone Community Pantry
Continuing the good work started by Surplus for Young Families BCP, the Parkstone and Winton Christadelphian Churches along with the volunteers who have made this project such a success, have formed Winton & Parkstone Community Pantry.
On top of the challenges presented by the recent pandemic, many are experiencing further hardship with the cost of living increases, energy prices and fuel costs. For those who are particularly challenged we are able to offer donated free food to those in need. While primarily targeted at young families, nobody who needs food is turned away.
Current opening times are Thursdays 11am - 12 noon and Sundays 5pm - 6pm at Parkstone Christadelphian Hall
and Tuesdays and Fridays 11-12 at Winton Christadelphian Hall.
If you are in need of food support simply turn up and join the queue. You can find additional information on their facebook page HERE
Please feel free to pass this information on to those who you think might be struggling.
